The birth of this teapot stems from the smith&hsu founder's childhood memories of brewing tea with his grandmother. The teapot in those memories held substance, warmth, and the presence of companionship. We wanted to craft a teapot that can truly be used for a lifetime—not a loud, showy design object, but an everyday vessel remembered by the palm of your hand. Much like certain moments in life, though simple, it deserves to be treated with care. Curl is more than a vessel for brewing tea; it is the starting point for building a connection with yourself and the world.
